Distal Hypospadias Repair With TIP by Drs. Snodgrass & Bush
Dr. Bush and Dr. Snodgrass of the Hypospadias Specialty Center show unedited video of a patient with distal hypospadias undergoing a TIP repair. Although the basic steps of the TIP urethroplasty and glansplasty haven't changed in decades, in this video they show a different approach for penile skin incision and reconstruction. This is the initial skin incision they now use for nearly all hypospadias repairs. This skin approach is particularly helpful in patients with both penile torsion and hypospadias.
