It is an interesting option when facing to very distal and small articular fragments, so they can be supported by "net" created by the crossed screws on the subchondral area. The arthroscopic assistance shows its benefits in cases like this, not only to check and improve the reduction quality, but also to detect ligament tears, treat them and clean the joint removing hematoma, fibrous scar, bone and chondral fragments.
