read more ↘ for performing a suprapectoral, intraosseous biceps tenodesis. The technique features the use of a finger-trap suturing method around the biceps tendon; a technique that has favorable biomechanical properties over other locking and non-locking suture configurations. The biceps tendon is docked within the proximal humerus and secured using a cortical button. A recent analysis demonstrates the superior biomechanics profile of the finger-trap suturing method compared to interference screw or suture anchor constructs.
