Dr. George L. Adams presents the third case in our Radial Peripheral Case Review series. He discusses the benefits of radial access in high-risk patients for bleeding, such as those requiring anticoagulation therapy. Dr. Adams will demonstrate how he utilizes radial-length tools including IVUS in order to document the size of the vessel, diagnose the characteristic of the plaque. and perfrom the intervention.
Dr. Adams is the Director of Cardiovascular and Peripheral Vascular Research at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC and Associate Professor of Cardiology at UNC School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC.
